Hello, I'm Koo
I’m a Qualified Hypnotherapist (Dip.Hyp CS) and a Registered Member of the National Hypnotherapy Society (MHS), a professional body accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. I’m also fully insured and hold a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Skills & Theory, which supports my gentle, person-centred approach.

I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and have completed professional training in Hypnotherapy, specialising in supporting women through the emotional challenges that can come with the empty nest transition.
I’m deeply committed to offering the best possible care for my clients. I work under regular professional supervision and continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing professional development - so I can support each person with compassion, understanding, and the highest professional standards.
My Story
For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a mother. It was my greatest dream and I poured my heart and soul into that role.

But when my twins grew up and left home, I suddenly felt… lost. I was proud of them, of course. But inside, I didn’t know who I was anymore. The quiet of the house felt like grief; the kind of sadness and emptiness I hadn’t fully anticipated.

I had spent so many years being ‘Mum’ that I’d forgotten what it meant to simply be me. My confidence faded. My sense of purpose blurred.

Then I discovered hypnotherapy and it changed everything for me.
The approach was gentle but powerful. It helped me reconnect with the parts of myself I’d forgotten: the curious, creative, hopeful woman I’d always been. I began to understand that my life wasn’t over, it was opening up in a whole new way. A whole new exciting chapter.

I realised something wonderful, I would never stop being a mother, but I was also a whole person, independent from my ‘parent’ identity, with dreams, passions and a future that belonged to me. I was ready to bloom again!

That shift changed my life so deeply that I decided to train as a hypnotherapist myself. Now, I help other mothers make that same transformation, to move from sadness and uncertainty to confidence and joy.
Whether you’re already an empty nester or preparing for that stage, I want you to know this:
You can feel positive about your future.
You can rediscover yourself, find new interests, meet new people, change direction, and fall in love with life again.
You’ve spent years giving everything to your family. Now it’s time to give something back to you.

This is your time to flourish... to live life fully, freely, and joyfully.
